Chelsea suit up in Dolce & Gabbana

July 29, 2010

What is it?

FHM received a special invitation to Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night by order of Dolce & Gabbana, who announced a three year deal as official outfitters to Chelsea. The official club suit is a super luxe dark blue three piece two button suit with the club’s lion crest. For down time, signature jeans and ‘Martini’ shirt with black trainers. In stark contrast to World Cup outfits worn by England designed by a high street chain, it looks like it’s not just on the pitch where they need to up their game. Italy’s slickest label meets England’s flashest club – it’s a perfect, erm, match.

What’s bad about it?

You can’t buy one, even if you’ve got the cash.

What’s good about it?

Unlike the Italian team, who regularly appear half-naked on billboards in their home country modeling the house underwear line, we won’t have to see Lampard, Terry and co in their smalls. We’ll happily leave that to Vanessa Perroncel.
