The Most Stylish Finds Around America for the Fourth

July 2, 2010

As part of our ongoing Stock Tips series here on The Style Blog, we got back from seeing the trends in Milan and Paris to some good old American workwear, and called up some of the best and brightest men’s retailers in the country. And what are they excited about from their shelves heading into this Fourth of July weekend? Shoes, for one, but also some sunglasses to become obsessed with, and the best pair of throwback swim trunks we’ve seen this month. So far.

Quoddy Handsewn Blucher

“I did this new Sea Foam Blucher with a brick camp sole with Quoddy last week and I think it looks pretty good and is very comfortable.”

Cutler & Gross 0734 Sunglasses

“I’m obsessed with round sun- and Rx glasses right now. As styles come and go, updating your eyewear is a simple way to transcend current style without updating your wardrobe at all. Most people make the mistake of changing their glasses last, but fun new eyewear is a surefire way to a compliment and should come first.”

NICE Collective Striped Swim Trunks

“These classic shorts evoke the style of 1950’s swimwear — but with a shorter length and slimmer fit that make them feel new again. I particularly love the lightweight fabric, combined with the striped waistband with adjustable sides — providing the perfect fit and ultimate comfort. These are more than just your run-of-the-mill swim shorts.”

Martin Margiela Short boots

“These boots are from Margiela’s Replica line. They have an amazing vintage feel, and are the perfect piece to complete any look.”
